Hoshall's Salon and Spa is a stunning, true European spa where clients are offered the most discriminating spa amenities as found in famous retreats around the world. Together with his wife, designer Joyce Hoshall, they have created a very stylized atmosphere that is both soothing and energizing -- not intimidating -- in its appeal to male and female clients.

Located in historic Folsom, one of the most picturesque towns of California's historic gold rush days, Hoshall's is nestled near the American River and adjacent to a lush, woodland setting that stirs the senses and relaxes the spirit. Bill's sincere desire is to make his clients feel pampered and good about themselves. "For all of us who are working harder and even faster these days, we would like to make our salon and spa your destination necessity," says Bill. Only 30 days after he received his license, Bill Hoshall opened his first hair salon in his hometown of Sacramento, California. That was more than 20 years and a number of successful salons ago. Long recognized for his artistry in hair design, Bill has made it his mission to ensure the best quality and innovative services for his clients and the highest educational standards for his employees. Today, he brings this successful formula to his newest endeavor -- Hoshall's Salon and Spa. The quality and confidence you seek in your hair, skin and spa services are waiting for you at Hoshall's.

Bill's reputation has earned him a membership in Intercoiffure, the prestigious international association of the world's finest hair designers. As part of his training, he apprenticed in Germany under the guidance of Bernhardt Gress, one of the industry's legendary European stylists. Upon his return to the U.S., Bill founded an educational facility to assist stylists in their continuing studies. His teaching philosophy is modeled after the time-honored European apprentice system of moving through the ranks to acquire the master craftsman status. The extensive menu of services at Hoshall's reflects this system.

Joyce Hoshall's designs mix elements from diverse cultures in a timeless style to create environments that are fresh and unexpected, yet still harmonious. Joyce has won numerous ASID Design Excellence Awards for her work, including a Gold Award in Residential Design and Platinum Awards for Most Unique Project and Best Show House.

In addition to offering a full range of interior design services, Joyce uses a unique approach which entails buying a house, moving in, implementing her artistic vision throughout every inch of it, and then selling the whole creation -- furniture, artwork, accessories and all.

Her work is in great demand, mainly because she has the uncanny ability to create gorgeous -- yet comfortable -- homes that look as though they took their owners a lifetime to create. Joyce's designs have been featured in both SACRAMENTO Magazine and the Sacramento Bee.
